Our story began in 2004 when our founder Justin Bahou, an experienced carpenter with an extensive background in commercial high-rise construction, began framing custom homes for some of the industry’s top builders. He was shocked when he discovered the vast difference between how custom home projects were being managed compared to commercial projects. He noticed how the organization and management of custom homes was lacking in major key areas. Frequent budget overruns, unexpected changes and delays, insufficient specifications and documentation, plus a general lack of client satisfaction, communication and trust were the industry norm.

Justin realized that many of these deficiencies could be resolved using solutions proven within the commercial construction industry. Justin formed PURE Building Group with the vision to enhance the quality of custom homes through progressive building techniques and procedures coupled with unparalleled customer service.
